James Anthony McBride
Jim, (Mac to his friends), has a lot in common with his character Uncle, best known from Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2. His father used to complain that he worked harder trying to get out of the job, then he would have if he just did it. And like Uncle, getting to live as long as he has comes with a lot of backstory. Jim served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1970 to 1975 yet still managed to avoid Southeast Asia. He even served an extra 3 months because he took an unauthorized vacation for one of them, and spent 2 more months locked in the brig; including a week in solitary. He worked on the railroad and retired from the Police Force— Thus, honing his enviable skills with profanity. And just when he thought his life was about to soar, he had a massive heart attack and died. Jim spent a month in a coma, preparing him for the Zombie version of RDR2. In 2014, he received a new heart but remained as work-adverse as ever. Throughout it all, however, he has always been grateful to be on the green side of the grass and surrounded by people who, for some odd reason, seem to love him.
