Jonah Ray

Jonah Ray Rodrigues was born and raised on Oahu, Hawaii. After moving to LA he got his start in stand up comedy, and went on to perform on COMEDY BANG BANG, Conan O’brien, his own Comedy Central stand up special, and co-starring in 3 seasons of THE MELTDOWN w/ Jonah Ray & Kumail Nanjiani. He also wrote and directed shows for G4tv's ATTACK OF THE SHOW, THE SOUP and was the co-host of THE NERDIST PODCAST.

 More recently, Jonah has been the lead on the NETFLIX’S “Mystery Science Theater 3000” while simultaneously producing, writing and starring in 2 seasons of his own travelogue parody show HIDDEN AMERICA w/ JONAH RAY. Which received rave reviews from VULTURE, THE NEW YORK TIMES, and Anthony Bourdain (who guest stars in the second season). Jonah has also appeared in IFC’s MARON, Garfunkel & Oates, and STAN AGAINST EVIL, The Sarah Silverman Program, and had a recurring role in FX’s BETTER THINGS.

 Jonah can also be seen in the films HATCHET 4: VICTORY CROWLEY, Blumhouse's POOKA LIVES, XYZ FILMS’ HOW TO DETER A ROBBER, WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story, Destroy All Neighbors (Shudder), Joe Lynch’s A Suitable Flesh, Joe Begos' CHRISTMAS BLOODY CHRISTMAS, and Alejandro Brugues' Satanic Hispanics.
